The Gebrüder Bernard AG has been producing snuff-tobacco since 1733. By the turn of the century the rich assortment was enlarged by the Regensburger Brasil Schmalzler. The emblem of this tobacco, the "Scmalzlerfranzl", is well known far beyond the german borders. It is one of the oldes registred brands, registered since 1894.
